A Member Plan give you greater flexibility in the phone you are able to choose when accessing a Member plan. A Phone plan limits you to a specific number of phones available on that plan.

A Phone plan is one charge for the phone and the plan you are on per month.

A Member Plan has two separate components to its bill, one charge for the phone and one for the plan you are on which is bundled into the one bill for your convenience.
